This training, with 7 contact hours, is designed for clinicians working with youth and families over time in in-patient and outpatient settings, as well as community-based offices and private practices. It strengthens clinician capacity to work affirmatively with these clients; builds an understanding of the challenges, risks and protective factors for these young clients; and explores the ethical challenges in negotiating the youth/family dynamics. Attendees will leave with tips and resources for working more effectively with these clients and their families.
