District 3 -School Nurse Fit Testing (Morning Farmington Session)

Welcome to N-95 Fit testing.  Please complete the registration on our link above .   This is open only to RNs or LPNs that are part of your school health team. Each session (AM and PM) are limited to 48 participants.  Each session is four hours long.  You only need to attend ONE session.

Registration will close when at capacity.  Please register early to ensure your place.  Each participant will receive FIVE N-95 masks after completing the fit test.

Participants who stay for the full 4 hours, can be  be a trained fit tester.

This registration  is for the 8AM-12 PM session

The location is the : Mt. Blue High School Gym

Course Prerequisites

1. A completed district Respiratory Protection Program in place as required by OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134, Respiratory Protection Standard 

2. View this Fit Test Video 

3. Review these handouts and print copies for yourself.

4. I have completed my medical evaluation as required by Amendments to OSHA 29 CFR §1910.134 for Maine Public Sector (screening form is in the handouts)

MEDICAL SCREENING MUST BE COMPLETED PRIOR TO ATTENDING A FIT-TEST TRAINING  This can be done by a medical supervisor or other nurse in the district.
