You're Invited! Marijuana in the New Millennium
The Bangor Area Substance Abuse Task Force in partnership with Bangor Public Health and Healthy Acadia is pleased to announce a Statewide Summit: Marijuana in the New Millennium. This summit is geared toward education, strategic planning, and community engagement from the public health perspective.
National experts will provide the most current marijuana-related public health and safety data, and explore emerging trends. Local leaders will outline the current marijuana policy landscape in Maine, share Maine-specific data, and outline the role of community norms and values around these issues in our state.
The summit will be held Wednesday September 23, 2015, and will include a daytime session at the Morgan Hill Event Center in Hermon from 9:00-4:00, and an evening program at The Gracie Theater at Husson University from 5:30 to 8:00 (times include pre and post receptions).
