Learn How to Teach Youth about Suicide Prevention through this full day "dual training" session including break-out sessions in the afternoon for Middle School Lessons and the Lifelines Program!

  • The Middle School Lessons for Suicide Prevention are developed for delivery within grades 5 – 8 and include mental health, stress and coping strategies as well as suicide awareness.
  • The Lifelines Program is designed to be delivered within grades 7 – 10 and offers basic suicide awareness and how to access help through caring adults.

Training space provided by Machias Savings Bank.

Lunch is not provided, but a break will be given to take lunch on your own.

Parking: Please park in lower parking lot at the far back of the bank, near the garage.

This session will be facilitated by Susan Berry, Health Education and Health Promotion Coordinator Maine D.O.E. and

Greg Marley LCSW, Clinical Director NAMI Maine under the Maine Suicide Prevention Program led by the Maine CDC.
