The GEAR Parent Network and Maine Parent Federation will host a Families and Youth in Transition Conference on Saturday, March 10 from 8 AM to 3:30 PM at MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta.
The conference is for the families of youth and youth ages 14 and up with emotional and behavioral needs, special needs and special health care needs who are transitioning from high school to adult life. Breakout sessions addressing specific needs of families and youth will be offered.
The keynote speaker is Mike Veny, one of America's leading mental health speakers and a high-energy drum circle facilitator.
