Tick and Mosquito Train the Trainer Program

We’re pleased to announce that the Maine Center for Disease Control & Prevention’s Muskie Public Health Education Corps will be providing a (third) Tick and Mosquito Train-the-Trainer Program in the Midcoast Public Health District, this spring. We had good attendance at the Belfast and Wiscasset presentations, and are pleased that an additional program will be held in Topsham on Thursday, May 31st from 2 – 4 p.m. at the Topsham Fire Department, located at 100 Main Street.

The program is being made possible through the efforts and collaboration of the Sagadahoc County Board of Health, Sagadahoc County Emergency Management Agency, Midcoast Public Health District, the University of Southern Maine, and Maine CDC.

Spring is coming, and with it ticks and mosquitos.  Let’s be prepared!
