Urgent support for LD 798 (Immunization exemtion bill)
Posted about 5 years ago by Patricia Endsley
Some senators need to hear from more constituents in favor of LD 798. If you have school nurses who are able, and who live or work in the areas covered by the following senators, it would be helpful if they could:
- Contact their senator and voice support for LD 798, indicating that they are a school nurse in the region.
- Write an op-ed if they are able – contact khess@mepca.org for more details about how to do this (it’s easy!).
Senators that need to hear from constituents:
Bill Diamond (D, Cumberland County): (207) 650 – 4713, William.Diamond@legislature.maine.gov
Dana Dow (R, Lincoln County): (207) 446-3262, Dana.Dow@legislature.maine.gov
Ned Claxton (D, Androscoggin County): (207) 576-8082, Ned.Claxton@legislature.maine.gov
David Woodsome (R, York County): (207) 432-5643, david.woodsome@legislature.maine.gov
Erin Herbig (D, Waldo County): Erin.Herbig@legislature.maine.gov
Susan Deschambault (D, York County): (207) 284 – 3570, susan.deschambault@legislature.maine.gov
Justin Chenette (D, Saco County): (207) 590-3266, Justin.Chenette@legislature.maine.gov
Marianne Moore (R, Washington County): (207) 952-2050, Marianne.Moore@legislature.maine.gov
Could you share this with your school nurses, please?
Many thanks for your support!
