Dear School Nurse Colleagues,

On January 28th, I will be meeting with our legislators in DC to advocate for

the Nurses for Under-Resourced Schools Everywhere Act (NURSE) Act, which would recognize the critical role of school nurses in providing students access to quality health care so that they are safe, healthy, and ready to learn. This is a demonstration grant (75% federal, 25% state) to increase school nurses in Title I schools. I have attached the NASN document supporting this legislation for your reference. PLEASE sign on to supporting this bill. I will be presenting our legislators with this list of Maine school nurses to show our support.
