Step Up and be Counted !

Fellow School Nurses,

Below is the link to the slide presentation on Step Up & Be Counted that was shared at the New England School Conference on May 6th in Portland.  

The Step Up! initiative is a national uniform, standardized data set for ALL nurse to collect.  In Maine, we will be collecting this data for the first time in the Department of Education Year End Report.  Although optional, please report whatever data you do have - partial data is better than no data!  For questions in Maine, please contact Emily Poland, our School Nurse Consultant.

The presentation is meant to be shared with ALL school nurses to raise awareness and understanding about the Step Up! initiative.  Feel free to share it at regional or district meetings or view individually.
